- Introducing the HD Capture Box (Platinum Edition) from ClearClick. With this device, you can easily record audio and video from HDMI video sources, up to 1080P and 60 FPS. (Important: This device does NOT display, record, or stream from HDMI sources that are copyrighted or content-protected.) The device also records from SD video sources such as VCR's, camcorders, DVD players, and so on (through AV or YpbPr), as well as from older computers that have old style VGA video output ports. No computer is required - the device saves your videos in MP4 format onto a USB 3.0 flash drive (up to 32 GB) or USB 3.0 external hard drive (up to 2 TB). (Not included) The device's "HDMI Out" port allows you to pass through your video/audio signal to your TV while recording. You can even play back recordings from the device itself after recording using the included remote control. Schedule recordings using the easy built-in menu which displays on your TV. The device also supports microphone input for overlaying extra audio onto your video.
